Water Restoration FAQs

Water damage can occur from a variety of different situations including water leaks from supply lines, water heaters, and natural disasters. As soon as you notice water damage call for one of our certified professionals to come assess the situation and begin the tear out and drying process. Q: Do I owe any money up front?

A: No. We won’t ask for any money until the job has been completely finished and you are satisfied with the work that has been done.

Q: How much is my deductible?

A: Insurance deductibles vary depending on which policy you choose. Please call your insurance agent for information on your deductible.

Q: Do you handle the entire claim?

A: In most cases we can handle the entire claim from start to finish.

Q: How long will this take to complete?

A: This largely depends on the circumstances and the severity of your claim. Drying and repairs can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks or longer. After our initial inspection we can give you a better idea on the time frame for your claim.

Q: Do I need to get multiple estimates?

A: No. The insurance adjuster will write his/her own estimate, or in some cases allow us to bill them directly for the work that has been done. There is no need for multiple estimates.

Q: Can you bill my insurance directly for water damage?

A: In most cases, yes. Typically, we will bill the insurance company and the only thing you are responsible for paying is your deductible and any upgrades that you may choose during the process.

Q: Some of my personal contents were damaged. Are they covered?

A: In most cases, yes. Please ask us for a Personal Property Inventory Form and follow the instructions on the back of the form.

Q: How much will my water claim cost?

A: Due to many different scenarios and unknowns it is difficult to give on estimated cost upfront. Costs can range anywhere from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars depending on the area that is damaged and the severity of the claim.

Q: Can I upgrade certain items after a water repair?

A: Yes, but in most cases, you will have to pay out of pocket far any upgrades that are made. As a general rule, your insurance company will only pay to cover the costs to bring your home back to its pre-loss condition. We will be happy to discuss costs with you for any upgrades that you might be considering.

Q: Is there anything that isn't covered by my insurance?

A: Policies vary, but generally speaking rotten or rotting wood and/or mold aren’t covered by insurance companies. Please check with your agent to see if you have coverage for these conditions.
